HOME MADE LABEL

GastroSuisse, the Foundation for the Promotion of Taste, Slow Food CH and the French-speaking consumers’ federation (FCF), united under the Association “Promotion of Home-made”, have awarded the Restaurant Miroir d’Argentine the “Home-made” label.

This label distinguishes, on a voluntary basis, restaurants whose dishes are prepared entirely or for the most part in their own kitchens, without resorting to pre-cooked dishes and products.

WINE TOURISME

The “Vaud Œnotourisme” certification recognizes professionals in the Vaud region who excel in the hospitality, restaurant, and wine industries—and in good taste in general. They place particular importance on providing high-quality tourism and culinary experiences. Initiated by the Canton of Vaud, the “Vaud Œnotourisme” certification creates a network of venues where you can be sure to discover, share, and above all, taste the flavors of the Vaud region. We place great importance on selling regional products, particularly wines.

WINE TOURISM OFFER : From the Vineyards to the Mountains

Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll set out on an easy hike through the gourmet region of the Chablais in the Canton of Vaud. You’ll learn fascinating facts about the region and visit the vineyards of Ollon, including our vineyard in Antagnes.

You’ll be introduced to the secrets of winemaking and sensory perception. During a tour of the vineyards, you’ll learn more about the vines and winemaking traditions from the wine tourism guide, and you’ll receive entertaining insights into the region’s history and geology.

Lunch will then be served at the Refuge de Solalex, featuring Chasselas wine and a fondue that won an award at the 2023 World Fondue Competition. After a drive up through the vineyards and mountains, our mid-mountain guide will explain the unique features of our region—particularly the Miroir d’Argentine—and lead you on a short, relaxing walk through the Cirque de Solalex.
